Information for Community Organisations

The Bardic Studio is a registered Australian charity founded by filmmakers and educators in 2011. We provide two free cultural opportunities annually for Community Organisations.

Above the black and grey words ‘Wide Angle Film Festival’, 6 rays of pink and orange light radiate from the centre outwards.

Wide Angle Film Festival (WAFF) for Community organisations includes both a Public Program and a Children's Public Program. Each program consists of an hour of Australian and international award winning films that reflect the lived experience of people with disability. Both programs  come with a suite of marketing collateral to assist community organisations to generate an audience and a suite of access for people with disability to ensure that community organisations can include everyone. WAFF can be screened as a stand alone event or as part of a hub of events.

The WAFF Corporate Program is a great tool for building changing culture within organisations as it is intended to be screened in the workplace for staff. More information about that program can be found under 'Corporations' in the menu.

Click on the WAFF logo above for more detailed information. Enjoy the trailer for the Public programs below.

The Sydney International Festival of Films (SIFFC) Community program is one or more 50 minute sessions of award winning Australian and international short films made by children. This program validates children and shares their perspective with the broader community.  Children are deeply engaged by the stories of their peers and many are motivated to make their own films after experiencing the festival. SIFFC Community Programs are offered free of charge.

Feel free to explore SIFFC through the menu above. To enquire about screening an SIFFC Community program email or speak to us on 02 8084 4769
