The Bardic Studio is delighted to provide organisations and schools in Australia with quality programs of Australian and international short films that reflect the lived experience of people with disability. Wide Angle Film Festival 2019/20 is offered to organisations and schools in Tasmania, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, Northern Territory and South Australia.
WAFF films screen with an array of accessible features to ensure as many Australians as possible can enjoy the screenings. Access is offered for people who are Deaf or have low hearing (open captions) for people who are blind or have low vision (audio description) for people with autism or other sensory disability (adjusted sound and light levels, social story and quiet space) for people with epilepsy (flashing light free screenings and venues) for people with anxiety and post traumatic stress disorder (reserved seating near door, friendly greeting, triggers list and quiet space) for people with mobility disability (lifts, wheelchair parking, and disabled toilets).
A suite of marketing collateral is provided to assist organisations to generate an audience. This includes finished artwork for posters, flier and invitations, copy for media releases, social media posts and newsletter articles, information and fact sheets, trailers, lists of films and discussion questions.
